Complete Blood Count
Complete Blood Count (CBC) is a a routine blood test performed on pets to provide objective information about the general health status of an animal. The objective data obtained from a CBC can indicate the presence of many forms of diseases and can be helpful in monitoring ill animals undergoing therapy.

* WBCs: Providing evidence for diagnosis of inflammation or allergic diseases of animals, such as parasitosis, canine allergic bronchitis, cat asthma, allergic gastroenteritis, etc.
* RBCs: Aiding in diagnosing different kinds of anemia and polyeythemia.
* Platelets: Aiding in diagnosing thrombocytosis. Primary thrombocytosis: essential thrombocythemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, etc. Secondary thrombocytosis high platelets caused by acute infection, hemorrhage, hemolysis, etc.
